Privacy laws keep getting stricter. We track them for you.

New privacy laws arrive every year, in US states and around the world. GRAIVA keeps track of the rules that apply to your website and checks it against them. Type your site: in about a minute we show every gap, with the evidence behind each one.

Most sites give themselves away in the first second.

Before a visitor clicks anything, the page has already loaded its tags. That first second is where privacy law is clearest, and where most small-business sites fall down.

The GDPR allows fines of up to €20 million or 4% of worldwide annual turnover (Art. 83(5)). Maximum under the law, not a prediction of any fine.

Click Reject. Watch what still loads.

Many banners hide the button and change nothing behind it. We click Reject the way a visitor would, then log every request that still leaves the page.

We also send Global Privacy Control and log what ignores it.

Each request we log is kept as evidence: the host, the time and the cookie it set.

Every finding is an exhibit, not a green tick.

  • The site’s own words, quoted. We show a quote only when it exists word for word in the page we stored.
  • The proof beside it. Screenshots, the cookie or request that fired, and when it fired.
  • Unclear means unclear. If we cannot prove an answer, we say so. We never fill the gap with a pass.

Quoted from example-bakery.co.uk/privacy

“We keep your information for as long as necessary.”

The policy names no period and no criteria for deciding one. Art. 13(2)(a) asks for either.

Fix: State how long each kind of data is kept, or the criteria you use. The planned document pack will write this clause for you.

Straight answers.

Is this legal advice?

No. The scan shows evidence against cited rules. Anything we generate is a template. This is a template, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by your legal counsel before relying on it.

Will it give my site a clean bill of health?

No scan can honestly promise that, so we never do. When a check passes we say “no gaps found against N checks as of” the scan date, and we show the evidence.

What do you need from me?

Only your website address. We read public pages, the way any visitor can. Nothing to install, no logins, no access to your systems.

Why do you ask for my email?

The full report is long and specific to your business. We confirm the email with a 6-digit code so the report goes to you and nobody else. No newsletter unless you ask for one.

What if a check cannot run?

It says “not measured” or “unclear”, never “pass”. Some sites block automated visitors; we tell you when that happens.

Does it check more than cookies?

Yes. Six risks that are counted per visitor, per email, per child or per work: fonts loaded from Google’s servers, session recording before consent, sign-ups without a children statement, marketing email sign-ups, subscription prices without renewal terms, and user uploads without a DMCA agent.

Which laws does it cover?

India’s DPDP Act, the GDPR, the UK GDPR and California’s CCPA/CPRA, plus cross-cutting checks. We detect which ones likely apply from your domain, language, currency and contact details.

One address. About a minute. Evidence for every finding.

To the Board of Directors, RB DesignTech · From Satya Tadimeti, Founder · 19 October 2026

Why I am building GRAIVA

GRAIVA is a privacy-evidence scanner for small businesses. I am building it as an independent startup that earns its own revenue, and at the same time it feeds RB DesignTech’s services and Manda’s M&A dealflow. One product, four sources of value, and an opportunity to invest early.

The problem it solves

Privacy law changes every few months: 20 US state laws in force and four more by 2028, new UK cookie rules in 2026, India’s DPDP duties in 2027, new laws in Chile and Australia this year. Small businesses cannot track it. Most installed a cookie banner once; in a 2026 study of 912 sites, 91% still fired a tracker before the visitor agreed. GRAIVA visits a site like a real person, clicks Reject and Accept, records every tracker as evidence, checks the privacy policy against the cited law, and shows how to fix each gap. It runs 96 checks today.

Four sources of value

1 · Standalone businessIts own revenue
  • A free scan brings the owner in; flat per-site plans pay for the fix and the monitoring (planned around $9 to $19 a month per site).
  • Agency plans let web agencies resell it to their clients.
  • Add-ons: attorney review with partner attorneys, proof packs for insurers.
  • Recurring revenue, low cost to serve, sold self-serve.
2 · Funnel for RB DesignTechQualified services leads
  • Every report ends in a fix plan. Owners who want it done for them become RB DesignTech projects: site rebuilds, consent and tag setup, AI and automation work.
  • The product plan already has "Website rebuild" and "Deep dive" tiers, delivered by RB DesignTech.
  • Leads arrive verified by email code, with the site, the evidence and the size of the problem already known.
3 · Dealflow for MandaM&A signals and diligence
  • Privacy is now a standard part of M&A due diligence. A scan of a target’s public websites is a fast, evidence-based privacy check Manda can offer on every deal.
  • Some owners we meet through the scan are thinking about selling or buying; with their consent, Manda can follow up.
  • Aggregate scan data shows which industries and regions carry the most privacy risk, which helps value deals.
4 · Data that compoundsA growing data asset
  • Every scan adds a dated record of what public websites actually do: trackers, banners, policies, by industry and country.
  • Over time this becomes benchmarks, research reports, and an API for insurers and investors.
  • A dataset competitors cannot copy quickly, and a large part of the company’s value at a raise or an exit.

How a scan turns into value

The investment opportunity

GRAIVA will raise a seed round once the first paying sites prove demand. The amount, valuation and terms are set with the board and counsel; nothing here is an offer of securities.

Use of funds
  • Coverage: all 50 US states, Canada and EU country rules, then Australia, Brazil and Mexico.
  • Product: a consent banner that truly blocks, one-click rescans, monitoring and law-change alerts.
  • Growth: agency plans, Shopify and WordPress apps, partnerships with web agencies and insurers.
  • Foundations: EU and UK representatives, trademark, counsel, security.
Why invest early
  • Timing: laws change monthly, and the market leader doubled its price in 2025.
  • A working product: the live scanner already runs 96 checks with evidence.
  • Built-in distribution through RB DesignTech clients and the Manda network.
  • A compounding data asset and clear strategic buyers at exit.

Proposal: board members and RB DesignTech get the first opportunity to join the round, on terms agreed with counsel. The round funds the milestones to a Series A: recurring revenue, multi-country coverage and a dataset at scale.

Guardrails the board should hold me to

A privacy company must be beyond reproach with its own data. Misusing a lead would damage GRAIVA, RB DesignTech and Manda at once.

  • Consent before cross-use. Sharing a lead with RB DesignTech or Manda needs a separate, unticked opt-in on our form and a clear line in our privacy policy. No consent, no hand-off.
  • Never sell personal data. The data asset is anonymised, aggregate observations of public websites. Contact details are never sold or licensed.
  • Separate company. GRAIVA runs as its own entity with its own books, so it can raise capital and be sold cleanly. Work between the three companies runs on written agreements at fair terms.
  • Before selling abroad. Appoint EU and UK representatives and pay the UK ICO fee; register with the NC State Bar before generating legal documents there.
  • Name. GRAIVA is the new brand; we complete a trademark search before launch (a similar mark, “GRIVIA”, was filed in India in October 2026).
  • Claims. We never tell a business its site meets the law. We show evidence, not legal advice.

What I ask of the board

  1. Endorse building GRAIVA as an independent startup, with RB DesignTech and Manda as partners.
  2. Approve the guardrails above, especially consent before any cross-company use of leads.
  3. Approve forming a separate entity and the agreements between the three companies, with counsel.
  4. Support preparing the seed round, and decide the board’s first opportunity to participate.
  5. Support the brand decision and the trademark search.

Figures and law dates come from our research files with sources (US state law trackers, UK SI 2026/82, India DPDP Rules 2025, a 2026 ConsentStack study of 912 sites). Prices are planned, not final. GRAIVA was formerly called ComplyMark.
